The land of the Golden Temple and the Mecca of Sikhs all over the world, Amritsar derives its name from the pool surrounding Golden Temple called Harmandir Saheb, which means the 'pool of nectar'. Amritsar is home to many temples - Durgiana Mandir and Mata Mandir, which draws an ardent lot of Hindu devotees. Also visit Jallianwala Bagh, a historical place where hundreds of Indians lost their lives during India's war of independence.

On arrival at Amritsar Railway Station, transfer to the hotel and check in. In the evening, visit Indo-Pak Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony. Stay overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, go for a full-day city tour of Amritsar and visit the Golden Temple, the most important sikh shrine and then go to see Jallianwala Bagh. Have lunch and visit Maharaja Ranjit Singh Summer Palace Museum. Stay overnight at the hotel.
